TM Font Customization Utility (TMFontRunner)

for TM-T81

1. Outline.

TM-T81 Font Customization Utility (TMFontRunner) Ver.1.00 has the following features.

  1. Create the font pattern.
  2. Edit the font pattern.
  3. Save the font pattern to the file.
  4. Upload the font pattern from the printer.
  5. Download the font pattern to the printer.
  6. Copy and paste the BMP data.
  7. Print the font pattern (Terminal Printer).
  8. Print the font pattern (TM Printer).
  9. Change Command Initial Value Settings.
  10. Mark at version number.
  11. Make DM-D font file.

  12. There is not a interchangeability with TMFontRunner for TM series except TM-T81. Do install this utility in the new folder.

    * User's manual and USB device driver is included.

3. Supports

Environment

  • Windows 2000 Professional SP4

  • Windows XP Professional SP2 or later (32 bit)

  • Windows Vista Business/Ultimate/Home Premium/Home Basic/Enterprise SP1 or later (32 bit)

  • Windows 7 Business/Ultimate/Home Premium/Home Basic/Enterprise (32 bit)

  • 2MB or more of free space
  • COMx
    * But, XON/XOFF handshaking is not supported. Please change handshaking of TM Printer to DTR/DSR handshaking when you use this utility.
    * Specify Serial I/F when you use Bluetooth I/F. But, If you execute function of Firmware update,  Backup and Restore, please specify the most faster baud-rate of the products.
  • LPT1
    * On Windows 2000 or Windows XP, you cannot use LPT Port when other printer driver (Terminal Printer etc.) was mounted on same port. Please release port for this utility when you use this utility.
  • USB
    * Installation of the USB driver is necessary when you use the USB I/F. 
    * Use USB driver which is included in OPOS ADK or APD. Use the USB driver which is included in this utility only if you don't use OPOS ADK and APD.
    * You can use only one USB device at a time.
  • Ethernet
    * Specify the IP Address which is set to the TM Printer.
    * Specify Ethernet I/F when you use 802.11b Wireless LAN I/F.

*1 : TMSSUTL cannot be used if there is no user-ID and special password. "TMFNTRUN" for the user-ID and "T736I2W" for the password are for General use.
*2 : If you want to use functions for Adjustment and for Repairing, please contact your technical support because the special user-ID and the password are needed
*3 : Only Japanese Kanji is Supported for extended Font.
